Annual Output of 600,000 Tons of Quartz Sand! A Quartz Project in Guangdong Expected to Start Production in March

Recently, the machine installation of the project of Guangdong Yunfu City Yueqing New Material Technology Co., Ltd., which has an annual output of 450,000 tons of quartz sand and 150,000 tons of glass sand, has reached over 98%. Currently, it is in the debugging stage and can be officially put into production in March. This project is a key project in Yun'an District, Yunfu City. The total investment of the project is about 300 million yuan, and the land area is about 80 mu. Using quartz ore as the main raw material, a processing and concentrating plant with a daily treatment capacity of 1,700 tons of quartz ore is built. It can process 750,000 tons of quartz ore annually, with an annual output of 450,000 tons of quartz sand and 150,000 tons of high-grade glass sand. After the project is put into production, it will improve the situation that a large amount of such products need to be imported domestically, and provide high-quality quartz sand raw materials for the artificial stone production enterprises in Yun'an District, forming an upstream and downstream supporting relationship.

According to the environmental impact assessment information of the project, the quartz sand produced by this project is mainly used for manufacturing fillers for building materials, such as artificial stone, ceramics, etc.; the glass sand is used for manufacturing quartz sand for photovoltaic products. The product requires that the proportion of 26 mesh to 80 mesh accounts for not less than 60%, and the proportion of 80-140 mesh is not less than 40%.

Heyuan City, Guangdong Province is a major production area of quartz stone resources in the whole country and even in Asia.
